The terrain of Ho Chi Minh City has many roads, small and winding alleys that make it impossible for cars to get inside. Therefore, Mr. Duy came up with the idea of creating this car, both to ensure the distance from people in the isolation area, and to ensure the safety of the delivery person.
This special car was built by Mr. Duy and a team of workers at his mechanical workshop in Nha Be district, Ho Chi Minh City in 3 days. After completion, the car was moved to Binh Thanh district to support the transportation of necessities for people in the blockade area.
Mr. Duy said that, first, he bought a 4-wheel all-terrain vehicle (ATV). Then he made the frame”special purpose” attaching splash shields, installing additional speakers, mics, and flashing lights to easily notify people when entering isolation areas.
The total cost of accessories to build the car is about 39 million. Each vehicle can transport about 200kg of food. After transportation, the car will be completely disinfected to ensure safety against the epidemic.

“I see that the delivery people have to wear level 4 protective gear to dare to enter the blockade, and handing out rice is also extremely difficult. Therefore, I wanted to make a vehicle of the right size, with an isolating glass cage. with the outside environment and attach suitable accessories to transport the goods.
The vehicle is also suitable for delivering food and necessities in field hospitals, minimizing the risk of disease transmission. Due to limited financial resources, in the future, if there is a need and support from benefactors, I will continue to build similar cars.
This car was fortunately also sponsored by a good person. The brothers in the factory decided to stop all production activities to quickly complete and serve people “- Mr. Duy shared.
A few days earlier, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Duy also created a remote-controlled robot with a cost of 80 million VND, to serve the transportation of food in a blockade area in Di An city, Binh Duong province.
