According to Mr. Quy, the progress of licensing procedures to exploit many land mines is still slow. The lack of land for leveling makes the bidding packages No. 5 and 6, the progress of the embankment is only about 30%. Currently, these two packages are short of about 500,000m3 leveling land.

The investor has proposed the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province to report to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for a specific mechanism to remove difficulties and obstacles in terms of quality materials and construction progress. project.

Specifically, it is allowed to increase mining capacity during the period of exploration and upgrade of mines, to add mines without auction of mining rights in the project area, to shorten the time of land exploitation permits for new mines. , expanding the mining area of ​​mines in the mining phase…

A representative of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board also said that the project investor has repeatedly proposed to the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province to manage land prices at the mines, but up to now, the price of land and materials is still very high, making the investors construction contractors faced many difficulties.

Currently, the price of material land of mines in Thua Thien Hue is sold at about 45,000 VND/m .3, and the price of land leveling and transporting to the construction site is 55,000 VND/m3.

Cam Lo – La Son expressway project has a total length of over 98km passing through Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces. The project was started in September 2019, with a total investment of about 7,699 billion VND, using state budget capital.
