Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Binh, director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, said that in Ho Chi Minh City, HCM City Primary Oncology Hospital and Children’s Hospital City are two modern investment, high technology, on a par with advanced countries in the region, with advanced management and management mechanisms to provide medical examination and treatment services, technology transfer and quality human resource training high.

Because this facility has many modern equipment, it will be put into operation in stages to get the most efficiency. The facility will begin operating clinics, emergency care, outpatient treatment, and radiotherapy and will be put into operation about 6 months later.

The Ministry of Health Award, Nguyen Truong Son, was also present at the inauguration ceremony to congratulate the city and hospital. According to him, in the coming time, hospitals must actively develop in the direction of autonomy. He reminded hospitals to overcome the situation of chasing revenue, not transparency in financial revenues and expenditures, leading to abuse of techniques.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, said that in recent years the city has strengthened the quality of medical examination and treatment at end-level hospitals, many hospitals have modern equipment. on par with other countries in the region.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong directs the 2nd Primary Oncology Hospital to focus on building prestige, branding, promoting the implementation of new techniques, applying smart medical, innovating medical registration according to to serve patients well in order to help reduce the load of people going abroad for medical examination and treatment.

Hospitals need to focus on building electronic drug stores, electronic records, electronic medical records and promoting the cashless program to reduce waiting time, increase patient satisfaction …
