Many thyroid drugs were withdrawn because of ineffective cure

After testing with customer complaints about drug problems, the manufacturer Acella Pharmaceuticals recalled 2 batches of NP Thyroid tablets.

The reason for this is that NP Thyroid has too weak therapeutic performance, just like Nature-Throid and WP Thyroid were also withdrawn by RLC Labs earlier this month.

The recall issued by the FDA on Acella states the pills “may have as low as 87% labeled levothyroxine”.

Acella has received four reports of adverse information regarding these batches of drugs related to the recall, the notice said. That batch number is M327E19-1 for NP Thyroid 15, 1/4 tablet (15 mg), which expires October 2020; M328F19-3 for NP Thyroid 120, 2 tablets (120 mg), the expiration date is November 2020.
