The plenary session of the Congress, live | The PNV will not support the relaxation of the use of masks: “You have to be agile to change decisions”

The PNV has announced this Wednesday in the Congress of Deputies that it will not support the validation of the Government decree law that seeks to relax the use of masks outdoors, approved by the Council of Ministers a month ago. “You have to be agile to change decisions and respond to the spread of the virus”, has defended the deputy Josune Gorospe before the advance of infections in Euskadi, where today there have been 1,583 positives in one day, the maximum of the pandemic. Congress today votes this decree law and three others, including the one that seeks to reduce the temporary employment of temporary employees in the public sector to below 8% and for which the Executive has not guaranteed the support of the Chamber, and that of the reduction of VAT on electricity bills from 21% to 10% on a temporary basis for small consumers. Regarding the latter, Félix Bolaños, Minister of the Presidency, has assured on TVE that the Government does “everything in its power.” On the other hand, the PSOE extends its advantage over the PP to 5.2 points, according to the CIS barometer for July.
