On June 21, Ms. Nguyen Thu Cuc – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province – said that from 0:00 on June 21, the city has decided to implement social distancing according to directive 16 for 4 wards. : Hiep An, Chanh My, Phu Hoa and Hiep Thanh.
These are wards that previously had many blockade points due to COVID-19 cases.
Before that, two urban areas with many workers in Binh Duong, Thuan An city and Tan Uyen town, were also separated according to directive 16 from 0:00 on June 21.
People are required to keep their distance, gather no more than 2 people outside of offices, schools, hospitals… People are asked to stay at home, limit going out as much as possible except for really necessary cases such as: buy food, food, medicine and essential goods…
As noted, many checkpoints were set up by the authorities at the gateways to Binh Duong. People from other provinces can still come to Binh Duong to work, but they must declare their health and ensure measures to prevent the COVID-19 epidemic.
