The Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, pointed out this Monday that medical reports conclude that the death of a soldier from the Aizoáin barracks, in Navarra, was a consequence of the administration of the AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine. “In the medical reports they have given us, it seems that there is no doubt that the consequence was the administration of the vaccine,” said the minister. The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, hopes to reach five million immunized people this Monday or Tuesday, the second milestone of the vaccination campaign announced by the President of the Government. The European Commission defends allowing entry for people who come from countries with a controlled epidemiological situation and for those who have received the full schedule of any of the vaccines authorized by the European health authorities.
